Our acoustic wood panels don’t contain any harmful chemicals or materials in accordance with the requirements of Global Recycle Standards. Harmful substances such as formaldehyde and pentachlorophenol are not present in our panels.
The base of our 2400 (mm) wooden slatted panels consists of 8 (mm) thick black felt , while the base of our 2800 (mm) wooden slatted panels consist of 7 (mm) thick black felt made from up to 40% recycled plastic bottles. The material is certified in accordance with the requirements of Global Recycle Standards, it contains no chemicals or substances that are harmful to health such as formaldehyde or pentachlorophenol.
The wooden slats consist of 12 mm thick MDF / Plywood strips which are finished with veneer. Theses slats are 2400/2800mm x 27mm wide and 13mm apart.
The acoustic wood panels are easy to trim down so if the wall is higher or shorter than 2400 mm, the slatted panels can simply be sawn to cover the required area.
The maximum tolerance in the panel dimensions is +/- 1 mm.
Installation is simple and does not require heavy duty tools or a professional installer – this product is suitable for amateur installation. For installations aiming to align slats end-to-end seamlessly, we highly recommend maintaining a 3-5mm shadow gap, whether for walls or ceilings.
